We offer massage featuring techniques from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Medical Gymnastics. We provide Table Massage, Towel Massage and Chair Massage.

Swedish Massage: The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It increases circulation without increasing heart load. It stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable. Swedish massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves themselves at the same time. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management. It also has many specific medical uses.

Deep Tissue: This massage is used to release chronic muscle tension through slower strokes and more direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain. Deep tissue massage helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue. Deep tissue massage usually focuses on more specific areas and may cause some soreness during or right after the massage. However, if the massage is done correctly you should feel better than ever within a day or two.

Acupressure: The purpose of Acupressure is to stimulate the body's own recuperative powers by stimulating the various points on the body. The stimulation removes energy blockages by diffusing the toxic build up that accumulates in the muscle tissue. The accumulation of toxins causes stiffness throughout the body. Stiffness in muscles puts abnormal pressure on nerves, and blood and lymph vessels. Pressure on blood and lymph vessels, affect both the skeletal systems and internal organ functioning.

Shiatsu: This is a Japanese word that means "finger pressure". In Shiatsu massage, pressure is applied to the areas of energy lines (meridians) to promote good health by stimulating the body's energy flow (Ki). This pressure can be applied to both wide areas as well as precise points and varied according to the body's needs. Sometimes the pressure can be gentle and calming. Sometimes the pressure can be deeply stimulating. The amount and type of pressure depends on the specific needs of the individual.

Reflexology: This is a gentle form of therapeutic treatment applied to the feet and sometimes to the hands. Reflexology is considered to be a holistic healing technique that aims to treat the individual as a whole, in order to induce a state of balance and harmony in body, mind and spirit. The therapist stimulates and works the reflex areas on the hands and feet, applying pressure to the feet with thumb and fingers. Pressure is applied to clear out congestion and restore normal functioning and health.

Medical Gymnastics: This is a type of therapy that incorporates a series of movements including active and passive stretching, flexion, extension, and joint manipulation techniques, to help maintain, regain, or increase flexibility and mobility.

Table Massage: This type of massage is delivered on a table designed for the purpose of massage. It can be done through clothing or directly on skin, with oils and lotions, or through a towel. The table allows for various positions and adds adjustable working heights for the therapist.

Towel Massage: This is great for those times when you want to eliminate the possibility of getting oil or lotion on your garment. It is also ideal for anyone with skin sensitive to various oils and lotions. During this type of massage, the therapist works techniques through a towel. The towel provides a gliding surface to perform the various relaxing massage strokes.

Chair Massage: This is a relaxation massage where the receiver sits in a special, portable massage chair, designed to support the body comfortably. The massage is given through the clothing, using no oils or lotions. Our chair massage practitioners use a combination of massage techniques to increase circulation, relieve muscle tension and reducing stress leaving the recipient feeling relaxed and refreshed! Effective relaxation can be achieved in just a few minutes, with massage sessions ranging from 10 to 30 minutes. It's an inexpensive yet highly effective way to reduce stress! Prices starting at $ 1 per minute of massage.
